Spacious triple room complete with a good-sized bathroom, making for a decent setup for a couple. Easy access to local shops and restaurants, just a short walk away from entertainment options.
Only basic complimentary refreshments in the room—just tea and coffee, lacking any extras like biscuits. Parking arrangement feels a bit haphazard, with a mix of tarmac in the front, side, and back. A notable inconvenience, the proximity to the town center means it's about a 12-minute walk to the bus station, which could be a stretch for some. the interior has a ledge between rooms that poses a tripping hazard , particularly elderly ones.

had a really great time at acorn guest house. the room was super spacious and had a comfy super king-sized bed, much more than i expected. breakfast was makin my day with fresh, tasty options like poached eggs and good coffee. the hosts were lovely and super helpful, giving us tips for the area. everything was spotless and just perfect for a relaxing stay.
the water could've been hotter for the showers and had some noise from the nearby road at night.

The Acorn Guest House offered a warm welcome right from the start. My room was spacious and clean, featuring a comfortable bed that made sleeping easy. The breakfast spread was impressive, especially the homemade marmalade. The hosts were attentive and went out of their way to make me feel at home. I appreciated the little touches, like fresh towels and tea-making supplies. Despite the positives, the walls felt thin, making the occasional noise disruptive, particularly at night. parking was a bit tricky. I had to maneuver a bit to find a spot. The check-out time caught me off guard at 9:30 am. I had assumed it was 10 am. This could be clearer.

Location was a bit of a trek. 12 minutes to the bus stop. Watch your step too—there’s a ledge between rooms that could trip up an elderly guest.

The triple room was super comfy and spacious. The shower was just what we needed after a long day. We also enjoyed relaxing in the cozy garden and having a lovely breakfast. The only minor thing was some noise from the hallway, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all! 😊
